Paid Time Off (PTO):

Midwest Professional Staffing appreciates the dedication and hard work of our temporary employees. One way of showing our gratitude is our PTO Certificates. Once an employee reaches 1,000 hours of work, they will be awarded 8 hours of PTO. From then on, their PTO will start accruing and can be used in 1 hour increments. The 1,000 hours does not require perfect attendance, but there cannot be a break in employment with Midwest for more than 60 days. Time off must be approved by the manager/client & staffing manager. It will not be approved within the last week of the assignment.

401(k):

Midwest Professional Staffing offer 401(5) to its temporary employees who are at least 21 years old, have worked with Midwest Professional Staffing for at least 1 continuous year, and have completed at least 1,000 hours of work.

Healthcare Coverage:

Midwest Professional Staffing is proud to offer Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant health coverage to our temporary employees. We offer two plans: Minimal Essential Coverage (MEC) and a more comprehensive United Healthcare (UHC) plan. They are both ACA compliant and offer COBRA coverage after the employee is no longer employed with Midwest Professional Staffing.

  • Minimal Essential Coverage: Coverage is available the 1st of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. This is a prevention only policy. Coverage is available for dependents, and premiums are very affordable.
  • United Healthcare Coverage: Coverage is available the 1st of the month following 60 days of continuous to those who average working at least 30 hours per week. This is a Choice Plus Health Savings Account (HSA) plan. Coverage is available for dependents, and premiums must be quoted individually.
